Susan has worked with hundreds of chairs supporting them to learn how to feel more confident when running a meeting. Susan realizes that becoming a great chair is a learned skill. Chairs can feel overwhelmed, nervous
or unsure when it comes to how to run a meeting. Many times what gets in the way is the chairs lack of experience with Public Speaking or with their lack of understanding about how to use Parliamentary Procedure.
It is for this reason Susan is uniquely qualified to work with, train and coach chairs. Susan herself has chaired over 1000 meetings and is an expert in teaching Public Speaking, Group Facilitation and Parliamentary Procedure. Susan is passionate about teaching chairs how to be effective during a meeting with the goal to get work done through and with people.
Susan can support your organization if you have a "power hungry" chair or a chair that is leading with "too heavy" of a hand. Susan works with this chair to help them learn how to lead through getting other to participate. You can not be a great chair if people are scared to work with you.
Susan also supports organizations who may have a chair that is "shy" or not confident in his/her position.
